if you’ve ever struggled to find makeup blogs by ppl who are close to what you actually look like, a very cool person on reddit has compiled a spreadsheet of more than a hundred makeup blogs, arranged by skintone. The spread also includes other useful information such as hair color, eye type (hooded, monolid, etc.), and skin type (dry, oily, acne prone, etc) to hopefully help you find bloggers similar to you so that you can find swatches, recommendations, and/or makeup looks tailored to your needs! :D
(btw, the spreadsheet uses mac shades and other foundation matches but if you don’t have any of these foundation brands, just go to findation and put down whatever brand + shade matches you to find the corresponding shades in mac or other brands)
boom
Maybe it’s brave to quit your job to go paint in Peru for a year, but it’s also brave to work two jobs to help pay for your mom’s medical bills. It’s smart to stay at the law firm until your loans are paid off. It’s OK to only tolerate your job but love your hobbies, because as soon as passions are turned into careers, you risk turning love into work.
So you don’t love your job — who gives a shit?
Are you happy with yourself? Are you happy with the way you treat people? Are you happy with your life?
Sometimes It’s Okay to Not Follow Your Dreams (via cmao)#i’ve reblogged this like twice#and i think some people are reblogging this as a joke#but bless this man and what he stands for
how is this funny to anyone.
Those people obviously don’t realize the extremely high kill rate for cats at shelters, not to mention that people literally dump indoor cats outside when they don’t want them anymore, and indoor cats often die due to starvation/predators (duh they have no survival skills).
Also - I might also be crying.
Jackson Galaxy is awesome. His story is is that he used to be a drug addict, and that while he was in the beginning of his recovery he saved a stray cat and nursed it back to life, and in return the cat essentially did the same for him, and ever since then, he’s taught himself everything there is to know about cats and their behavior. Cats saved his life, so he’s saving cats lives. He’s awesome.
This man’s briefcase is a guitar case lol. He’s so so cool and incredibly compassionate ugh I just love him and his show so much.

I strongly dislike when people (teachers, community workers etc) divide groups up into ‘boys’ and 'girls’ for team activities. First, you’re making a lot of assumptions about the children’s genders and secondly it fuels this rivalry between boys and girls where they’re pitted against one another in an antagonistic way, which ultimately is a false construct especially in oppressed communities where men and women often have more in common to struggle against and can’t afford these divisions. Also given that most kids are already socialized from a young age to see the world in terms of a gender hierarchy with anything feminine and/or female deemed as inferior, the situation often devolves into an ripe opportunity for girl-bashing and male ego to saturate the space.
#I DON’T THINK YOU UNDERSTAND HOW MUCH I LOVE ZUKO AND HIS CHARACTER ARC
My favourite thing about this, is that he goes back to his father, and holds him accountable for his actions. He’s thought he was in the wrong for years. That it was his fault he lost his honour. To see him come to this understanding that he was a child and his father was the responsible party was amazing.
I can’t even think of any other animated kids shows where the abuser is called out on their abuse as openly and directly as he was in this show. And don’t even start me on the importance of them showing that a male child can be the victim of abuse by a male parent. That’s a demographic that so often gets brushed aside and they get told to “man up” or in this case “act like a Prince”. And Zuko gets to stand up and say “I AM a Prince. You’re the one who was wrong”.
this show….
*slow clap for all eternity*

damn…i imagined for a couple seconds and wow. profound
i was just watching this interview with someone who was talking about courage and vulnerability. The interviewer started talking about how he had macklemore perform on his show and how macklemore was a great example of that because he’s talking about gay marriage and his addictions and how that not something hip hop is known for….
Not something hip hop is known for…
Aren’t the roots of hip hop in Black youth deciding talk about what was happening in their families, in their communities, what they were struggling with and how they were feeling about it and trying to make sense of violence and create dialogue? All the while doing it in the beast of a white-supremacist, capitalist devil’s belly called the US and doing it when no one wanted to hear their voices, when no one wanted to listen or care.
When no one wanted to listen or care…
That is the epitome of courage and vulnerability. The. fucking. epitome.
So to be like macklemore is breaking some mould is really insulting and just inaccurate. It is an erasure of Black humanity.
Plus the posturing of machismo and bravado in commercialized hip hop is largely the doing of rich white producers who saw something they capitalize on and appropriate to make mad $$ so like…
